The Salvation Army of Melbourne

The Salvation Army of Melbourne is conveniently located in Melbourne, close to the hospital. On the main campus off of Hickory Street there are several buildings. The front building just off of Hickory, with a red roof, is the Chapel and Fellowship Hall. This is where worship services and corps activities take place. Summer day camp, youth group, seniors meeting, Women’s Ministries, and band practice are also located at this building.

The second building on the campus is the Social Service Department and the Administrative office. Located at the southwest end of the campus, it is the building with a blue roof.

On the northwest corner of the campus is the Sue M Pridmore Center. This building with the green roof is our transitional shelter for women with or without children. The office is closed during the day. To make a donation to the Pridmore Center please come into the Social Services Department and your donation will be taken over. The Salvation Army Family Store

2400 W. New Haven Ave., Melbourne, FL 32901

The Family Store is just off of 192. West of the Melbourne Square Mall and just across the street from Red Lobster, The Family Store is easy to find. The Family Store sells gently used household items and clothing at deeply discounted prices. All of the money raised through the sales at the store stay local and go back to support The Sue M Pridmore Center. Whether you are donating items to be sold or purchase items from The Family Store, you are helping to support your local shelter for women.
